FRI JUL 13        THE GRAY HORSE BAND                                     $5  |  9PM

The Gray Horse Band plays a little classic country, a little old school rockabilly, honky tonk and even some classic rock. Familiar yet obscure, some favorites and some stuff you’ve never probably never heard.

There’s something really special about hearing well-played American, countrified roots music in the traditional, Japanese restaurant and lounge of Tokyo Garden.

5 to 7 stand-up comedians from Los Angeles for the low, low price of $5. This is their third stop at Tokyo, and promises to be another night of hilarious comedy.

Bring a friend and enjoy some of Southern California’s best stand-up comedians without the Southern California drink prices.

$5 at the door. 21+. 9PM.

SAT JUL 14        CONVICTS OF COMEDY                                                                         21+ | $5  AT THE DOOR  |  9PM

Blending various pop and rock influences into catchy tunes with original melodies and memorable hooks, The Torn ACLs deliver their songs with originality and optimism.

Seattle may be known more for the grunge movement of the nineties, but The Torn ACLs lend a lot of credibility to the idea that Jet City is a musical town with fresh ideas.

FRESNO COVERS FRESNO

(A F.U.S.E. COMPILATION BENEFIT)

It’s time, once again, to lend a helping hand to those local folks from F.U.S.E., who have some pretty clever ideas when it comes to Fresno. Fresno Covers Fresno, a CD compilation which features Fresno area artists covering the songs of other Fresno area artists, is no exception. But it’s a big, and relatively expensive project, so they need your help...er, cash.

Werebear, B. Rawcity, and It’ll Grow Back are performing on Saturday night in the intimate Tokyo Garden on Fulton Street in Downtown Fresno in an effort to raise money to help fund the Fresno Covers Fresno CD.
