TOKYO GARDEN JAZZ JAM SESSIONS (Recurring Sunday Event) FREE | ALL AGES | 6PM
SAT JUN 01 SICK/SEA (FROM TEXAS) $5 | 21+ | 9PM
The sibling-members Audrey and Cameron Scott joined together with Miguel Morales to create what might be called a ‘trend- breaking’ type of music, having fused the multi-genre sounds of their childhood into one splendid style.
It is child-like adventure that brought Sick/Sea together and theirs are songs of life and love and the discernment gained through human relationship.
WED JUN 05 ERNA AND THE ERRATICS (FROM LOS ANGELES) $5 | 21+ | 9PM
Erna and the Erratics are a Los Angeles based Indie-Soul band, full of R&B and funk hooks and feisty lyrics. Most of them met at the Los Angeles Music Academy (LAMA) and they have been playing around Los Angeles since 2011. Erna brings passion, intrigue, and even some controversy to her songs. She hails from Seattle, grew up during the grunge era, and wanted to be the 4th member of TLC. She entertains herself by taking audience requests and making up songs while performing live.
Joe (bass) hails from Long Beach CA- and chose to play bass over being a science nerd. Jonny (guitar) came to the sunshine state from Wisconsin and brings his rock guitar stylings. Tony (keys) increases the bands pedigree with his USC music degree and his investment in inner city youth through the arts. Chris (drums) the most recent addition to the band, hails from Chicago, and brings his ability to play all styles- country to gospel to funk.
